1. Overview
Liberty IT Technologies(“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates GoldLane(the “Platform”), a QR ordering service for food trucks, festival stalls, and outdoor event vendors at fairs, rallies, and night markets. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when vendors use our dashboard and when guests scan a QR and place orders at published food events.
2. Information we collect
- Vendor account data: name, business name, email address, password (stored hashed), and organization settings.
- Event and menu data: event details, menu items, photos, pricing, capacity settings, and QR order links you publish.
- Order data: items ordered, order totals, timestamps, and fulfillment status. Guest contact details if collected at checkout.
- Payment data: transaction identifiers and settlement metadata. Full payment card numbers are processed by PCI-compliant third-party providers; we do not store complete card details on our servers.
- POS integration data: menu sync records and order payloads transmitted to or from connected Square, Clover, or similar systems.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs for security, analytics, and service improvement.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
- Process orders and facilitate payments and settlements
- Sync menus and push orders to connected POS systems
- Communicate about account activity, support requests, and service updates
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to authorize charges and settle payouts
- POS partners (e.g., Square, Clover) when you enable integrations
- Infrastructure providers that host our application and database under contractual confidentiality obligations
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and Platform integrity
We do not sell personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, cart persistence on guest order pages, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit Platform functionality.
6. Data retention
We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your vendor account subject to applicable retention laws and outstanding financial obligations.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@goldlane.us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for vendor business use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Guest checkout should be completed by an adult or with appropriate guardian consent where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email where appropriate.
